Acknowledgements
Firstly, I would like to thank Erin Scott for writing the grant for this project, conceptualizing it,
and providing key editing. Without her hard work IWC, nor this resource, would exist. Next, I
would like to thank Shimshon Obadia and Michael V. Smith for their generosity with sharing
their own video poem curricula. Sections of this resource rely heavily on their contributions. I
want to thank the poets and producers Shimshon Obadia, Emmett MacMillen, Craig Carpenter, and
Mark Bertolutti for creating poems that bring this resource alive with powerful, local work.
Finally, I want to thank Amy Thiessen for her hard work turning this resource into a Badgr
program so that we can share it all with you. I hope you enjoyed working with this content as
much as I enjoyed creating it.
I hope you all stay safe and healthy out there. And remember: Be gentle with yourself, so you
can learn to be gentle with someone else.
